Quality Standards assured as Connect obtain ISO 9001 accreditation
Connect’s commitment to continuous service improvement was recognised today by the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO), when the Group was awarded ISO 9001 accreditation.
ISO 9001 is the standard that governs good management practice and when adopted ensures all employees work according to strict procedures. In such, clients and candidates can be assured of an exceptional level of service every time.
Speaking of the award Todd Grondona, Connect Group’s CEO commented, 'We are delighted with our ISO’s recognition. Going for the accreditation has been a great motivator for our staff, who pride themselves in the work they do'.
In an increasingly competitive market, where client’s are looking for the reassurance that their money is spent wisely (and candidates their time), we feel sure that our ISO 9001 status will give them both confidence that Connect Group can offer something that our competitors cannot. By securing this globally recognized service standard, it is also our aim to increase our already high retention rates, amongst existing (and future) customers alike”.
Other noticeable benefits of ISO 9001 include:
- Many major commissioning organizations in the recruitment market, e.g. local authorities, reputable large companies, charities etc., insist on a company having ISO 9001 certification to achieve 'preferred supplier' status, or simply to qualify to tender for their business. ISO 9001 will support us in applying to be a supplier in these instances, thus increasing our opportunity for success and financial growth.
- ISO 9001 will enhance our professional status within specialised arenas
- ISO 9001 will reduce the chance of mistakes being made in the recruitment process and thus reduce costly reparatory time. This will result in 'solutions' being found in a timely efficient manner for clients and candidates, every time.
- ISO 9001 will help in the reduction in our company insurance premiums, keeping overheads down and ensuring that money saved can be re-invested in staff training and service improvements
